What we collect when you ask about classes, why, and who else sees it.

Who we are

WeFixed Academy is the training school of WeFixed, at 2722 Washington Blvd, Arlington, VA 22201. Questions about your data: call or text (571) 366-2869 or email academy@wefixedelectronics.com.

What we collect

  • When you send a request (the free course guide or Find your course): your name, mobile phone, an email if you give one, and your answers about the course, your experience and your goal.
  • Where you came from: the page you landed on, the site that sent you, and ad marks in the address, such as utm tags or a Google click id.
  • How you use the site: Google Analytics and Google Ads count pages viewed and taps on the phone number and buttons, with cookies.

How we use it

To call or text you about your request, classes, schedules and enrollment; to send the course guide; to run your student account if you enroll; and to see which pages and ads bring people to the Academy.

Google Analytics and Google Ads

When you send a request, your phone and email are turned on your device into a one-way code (a SHA-256 hash) and sent to Google with the request, so Google can tell us whether it came from an ad. If you enroll, we may send Google the same hashed contact with the enrollment. Google does not get your plain number or email from us this way.

How Google uses data from sites like this one: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. To turn off personalized ads, visit My Ad Center; to stop Google Analytics, use the opt-out add-on.

Texts and calls

We text and call only about your request and your classes. Reply STOP to any text and we stop texting. Message and data rates may apply.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the services that run the Academy for us (hosting, our business software, our phone and text provider, and Google as described above), and when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Requests and student records stay as long as they are needed for your classes, your certificate and the law. After that we delete them.

Your choices

Call or text (571) 366-2869 or email academy@wefixedelectronics.com to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. For a student under 18, a parent or guardian should send the request.

Changes

When this policy changes, we post the new version here with a new date.
